A subset of Critchlow NationalMap consisting of Critchlow's Community of Interest boundaries. These are the equivalent of suburbs, captured by Critchlow in consultation with New Zealand Fire Service to establish Fire Service suburb boundaries. Similar boundaries and names are used in Critchlow National Address Register address geocoding software.
Only a few officially designated suburbs exist within New Zealand. This is a Critchlow produced source currently used by a number of government and major organisations to define suburbs. It can include a number of statistical meshblocks and or area units.
